Environment

The raw material used by Koskisen — wood — is an ecological and renewable resource that binds carbon throughout its entire lifecycle. Koskisen’s plywood products are manufactured in Finland in accordance with strict regulations that support sustainable development.

Koskisen is a pioneer in environmental responsibility within the Finnish forest industry. The wood supply chain is always carefully traceable.

Finnish forests are largely privately owned, and the owners are highly committed to long-term and sustainable forest management. Finnish forests grow more wood annually than is harvested, ensuring a sustainable raw material that respects the environment.
